About David
A California native, I was born and raised in San Jose. After the "shaker"
of '89, I felt compelled to migrate to more stable ground, and due to the
affordable housing market at the time, the Sacramento area is where I
planted my roots. My wife and I started a family shortly after that, and a
decade and a daughter later, we found our modest 1,000 square foot house to
be a little too cozy. So, we headed south on 99 to Elk Grove, where we
currently reside with our dogs Snickers and Chloe.
During the sale of our house and the purchase of our new house, I had a very
enlightening experience, as I worked closely with our REALTOR in finding the
"perfect" house. She made me feel as though I was the only client she was
working with, even though her plate was quite full as the market at that
time was very "hot". I learned a lot about the whole real estate process,
the emotions that come with house hunting, multiple offers on the house that
you want, not getting the house, and starting the process all over again.
The experience opened my eyes to the importance of the client-agent
relationship, the need for communication, the trust issue and the
vulnerability of the general public if not represented properly.
As I mentioned before, I had a great experience. My REALTOR was terrific to
work with (thanks Shanda!) My brother, who was purchasing his first house at
the time, was not as fortunate. It was a combination of those two events
that led me to pursue a career in real estate. I feel truly blessed to do
something I'm passionate about, assisting others in acquiring their piece of
the American dream. Let me work for you. Let me look out for your best
